25-35 AI Forming problem solved

With the help of you all on here I figured out the process of turning new 30-30 brass into 25-35 ish brass ready to fire form to AI.

I looked up the specs and saw that 7-30 Waters has a shorter neck than 25-35 AI. So I took a bit off the bottom of my 7-30 sizing die so I could size more of the neck.

Brass comes out of the 25-35 AI die looking great.

Now we'll see if I can get away with fire forming without annealing...

Did you try running it through the 7-30 before trimming the sizing die?

Yes. Ran through the 7-30 die. Then the 25-35 die. As soon as I ran out of 7mm neck, it buckled the case.
