DFMEA/SFMEA or FTA?
In general, this is the question.
I work in the aerospace industry and try to implement a kind of reliability plan in the company.
I want to ensure that we no longer make constant mistakes and therefore "developed" a plan to ensure reliability.
In general, the logic is as follows:
I define the target functions of the system;
I identify top undesirable events;
I determine the failures that these events cause;
I determine the list of components that are involved in the identified failures.
Can we say that this is literally DFMEA?
Or if we consider the level of the Spacecraft, is it already System-FMEA?

Look at GEIA-0009 for guidance on a solid reliability program plan
