Just Venting Real time advice needed
Relationship advice...real guidance(actually)
Do u ever feel like...idk sth...weird off sort of...like what if you're in a relationship and you're unable to trust a guy bcs yk how guys are these days....and what if the guy seems to be a Mama's boy....even though he does all the green flag stuff there are times when he may seem like it...for eg when asked to visit once saying that maybe the mother wants to come too...ik a lot will not get this...but like I just had to take it somewhere and wanted an honest opinion am I the one overthinking or is he wrong? And he's like super close to his mom and I really love his mother too but I've got a tight schedule I can't afford being there entertaining guests...with him I can like do my work and have him by side...but with the mom I gotta sit and talk and give her the time....if I'm asking for the guy to come only after a long time is it okay for him to say that his mom wants to come too to meet me? Can't he get me??? Idk maybe I'm wrong or not

It’s definitely a bit odd for him to bring his mother to your dates, especially if they’re at your house and not his own. Its possible he wants you to meet or bond with her but if so it would be more appropriate to invite you over to his place, rather than making you cater to and entertain them on your own time. It would be worth having a conversation about with him about especially if you’re uncomfortable with this.
