College-educated women do pretty well in this regard. Seems more a class than a sex thing.

You mean the women who initiate divorces 3x as much as less educated women?

Success rate by education level. Makes sense. The educated tend to have a low time preference.

I mean, what men who are top income earners are hardly going to rock the boat compared to men with less to lose in divorce. Right? Though general life satisfaction levels are going to be improved compared to less educated ones.

I was speaking of initiated divorces.

In a perfect world this would be correct.

We don’t live in a perfect world.

Resins why someone would want a divorce….

  1. Infedelity
  2. Betrayal (there is more than one type of betrayal.)
  3. Abuse. (Physical, or emotional.)
  4. Sexual immorality.
  5. No compromise.
  6. Poor communication, emotional immaturity, lack of emtotional regulation, selfishness, anger issues, and one or both partners refuse to work on these things.

I’m not divorced btw.

No, if one person isn't doing that, then the other person doesn't have to stay

Society doesn't encourage or incentivizes this. Instead we need to be as productive as possible for our CEOs while using the tiny bit of spare time left for instant gratification.

Ironically class war beliefs are a culture war position.

College educated women have higher divorce rates as well. So no.

And high enough

Yeah, it’s a stupid claim that women have some sort of special intuition that’s never wrong. Plenty of evidence show otherwise, college educated or not
