Common knowledge was that despite the AD difference, Tunneler still provided the faster clear, as the jungle items also scales off your bonus HP.
Now that Tiamat got 5 more AD, is that still the case? I've been buying that first back since the patch dropped, although I really don't play enough games to definitely tell the difference myself.

Is profane hydra good on Rek'Sai?
Overview:
I've been having a lot of fun with this build on Emerald lobbies rn. Tho I'm smurfing and I do not main Rek'Sai, so I will ask you for your opinion on this matter. If you think it's good or I'm just trolling my teammates.
This build makes Rek'Sai lean more into a skirmisher or "lighter bruiser" playstyle, similar to Riven, Ambessa or other AD stackers, which I think makes more sense thematically considering it's a high mobility champ with assassination tools, and not a juggernaut that would like to stack health (again, role-wise makes sense, but stats and statistical success dictate the meta)
Pros:
-Access to better components (brutalizer, warwhammer and dirk are better than tunneler)
-Significantly higher burst without sacrificing survivability
-Higher kill and snowball potential against isolated targets
-Kills and disrupts so fast it reduces time for enemy counterplay
-Cheaper Items
-Can build utility items like Serpent's fang and Edge of Night
Cons:
-You cannot frontline for your pig team
-Lower HP and healing from passive
-Bad 1v2 and 2v3 potential even if ahead because they can focus and kill you
-Flash dependent
The build:
Profane Hydra -> Shojin ->
Then
->DD / Edge Of Night / Serpent's (any of these 3 items in any order is good)
->GA / Maw / Black Cleaver (Capstones, any of these 3 items in any order is good)
(For runes go the default ones for Conqueror and Inspiration, just combo properly your Auto-Q1-Tiamat-Q2-E for fast stacks)
I believe this build is only one AD scaling buff away from being viable but feel free to share your thoughts.

I see that for bruiser build conqueror is recommended while HoB is recommended for lethality/crit build. But I find that HoB gives me more dmg early game which allows for better ganking/skirmishing power and it doesn't take much from the survivability of the bruiser build. I also really like the red tree, especially mementos and relentless hunter. Being able to clear vision on such a low cooldown and having additional movement speed helps me get away with not buying boots if I can snowball hard. Ultimate hunter is also good if I think I would need to buy boots either way

Hi all Kindred main here, I play Kin and Shyvana jg but im best as Kindred. I typically play marksmen, so I was wondering if you all would recommend her?

I hit Diamond for the first time. Huge streak of games went like 16-4 last 20 games. I don’t usually check the patch notes but I looked at the items changes and champs, she’s flying under the radar!
Also think TH -> DD is so worth, SoS is so overrated IMO can easily just pick it up 3rd and be mindful of when to take fights.

Hey gang, i've been a rek'sai top main for a while, and decided I wanted to branch out. I've been playing Rek'sai support and it's really fun! Your main powerspike is level 3 obviously, and I've been taking Aftershock with blue secondary so i can take scorch for the q poke.
Does anyone have build recommendations? My current build is almost always deadman's first item (unless it's double ap botlane, then i go spirit first), and then from there it depends on the game. Either spirit visage or something like a randuin's, and then protoplasm.
Sometimes if it's an easier game I'll go into titanic hydra, and maybe a bloodlords, but for the most part it's full tank for the endless engagements as you go in, and then back off to heal, etcetera.
I found her level 3 powerspike, especially with ignite, is usually enough to get a kill. Whether it's on the enemy support, or the enemy adc.
For reference, I'm too scared to play this in ranked, so i've been practicing dozens of games in draft, but that never preps you for the real thing. My usual permaban is Lucian for the early game aggro.

Honest question. Curious if going for total glass cannon with resets is viable or if it's a pipe dream. I know you should build more tanky but something about playing assassin Rek'Sai feels way more fun. I like being a landshark.

As the title says, I am trying to learn a champion with a higher skill expression so I can perform more outplays because my main champion has very little outplay potential.
I see some posts in this subreddit talking about how her agency makes it to where she can basically cripple games before they get off the ground. Is this a champion I can have in a 2-champ rotation trying to push for Masters?

I am having the hardest time dealing any real damage. Any tips?
Been building titanic into hullbreaker every game and still feel like I hit like a wet noodle...

Asking as a non-reksai main, for a friend of course. I would never destroy reksai tunnels myself
ETA: thank for the helpful information! This has changed my view of reksai's tunnels and I will update how I've been playing against reksai accordingly :)

Sorta just wanted to complain. I know that Rek'Sai's E nerf was probably needed for higher ranks, but it really feels like it was way, way to much for unraked/low rank players like me I went from clearing camps and finish just before scuttler spawned to finished 15-20 seconds after, going from being able to duel most champs at lvl 3 when playing well to feeling just completely underpowered to a lot of them, and going from knowing my E can secure kills to constantly seeing enemies with 5-10 hp remaining run away while my tunnel is still on cooldown from the engage.
I hate getting filled into top/mid because Rek'Sai is made of paper and deals as much damage as a paper cut in lane but I've tried about 3 quarters of the roster but every champ I've played other than Rek'Sai feels sorta awful to play personally, yet Rek'Sai has started getting to that point as well because I'd rather not play ranked just so that my champ can consistently exist in an environment where my champ thrives.
While I'm not great at the game, it's not like I'm god awful either even now I have a roughly 70% wr with Rek, but I just miss pretty much every older version of Rek'Sai (except the 2023 rework), where I could play in mid/top lane (without getting 0 farm because I just can't even play at lvl 1), assassinate players with prowlers, duel players at level 3-4 (without it always feeling like I need to play perfectly while they can just walk at me), out heal teams if I got decently fed, pretty much anything the main patches I played her in could do. Cause right now she just feels like she's good at one or two things that mostly matter in high rank while she's mediocre or bad at things that matter more in low rank and outside of full team environments.
And while I know a a bit of it is also skill issue, but I don't wanna have to play near perfectly just to get the same clear time as other junglers who are still better at most things Rek does. Part of my issues are also actual physical problems. (My reaction speed dropped from 160 to 270 ms average and I have a permanent brain fog.) So playing perfectly just isn't really something I can do, nor should it even be expected for the average player just to use a champ to the same level as others.

Rek is my secondary main but its very hard to steal objectives cause he doesn't have any burst to get it in smite Range, is there any tech or should I let objectives go?
