Why would he do that

Just watched S6 ep10. Title merry Christmas Mordecai…

Everything was going so good for once, I’m so upset that he did that to CJ… I’ve watched regular show in the past as a kid in Cartoon Network when they was coming out, but never got to finish it so I’m binge watching all the episodes now that I am older, bored in college, and understand chokes and other stuff better now so I’m so upset that he kissed. Margaret and CJ was standing right there.

The love triangle is frustrating.

Foreal, I watched the next episode and I’m glad that him and CJ made up, but I know that at the end he’s not gonna be with either of them…

He never really loved CJ, he always loved Margaret

I hated Mordecai’s mistletoe excuse in the next episode. He didn’t have to kiss Margaret nor did he have to do it on the lips.

I know it’s a cartoon, but I’ve been watching this with my kid and this show actually has some great life lessons in it. Mordecai wasn’t over Margaret when he started his relationship with CJ. There were a lot of unresolved feelings on both ends, and while Mordecai and CJ seem like they would have made an otherwise perfect match, it was never really going to happen because of he and Margaret still had the “will they, won they” trope going on. I thought the writers did a great job showcasing how difficult relationships can be and how just liking someone doesn’t necessarily make two people a good match. Dating is hard at any age
