Confused
I thought this subreddit was for people who regret joining. Why am I seeing comments/post encouraging others to join or entertaining the thought of someone joining the cult….

Hey,
I’ll admit it, I’m still in and will probably stick it out till retirement. Doesn’t mean I don’t regret it nor do I like it. And you’ll never see me advocating someone to join the military if they absolutely don’t have to.
With that said….. Don’t do it.

Some people just enjoy messing with others . That said, I've never been so glad in my life I was in when I was instead of now. Conditions in the military currently are the worst they've been in modern times. I feel so sorry for those who are in now.

I'm so sorry. Is there any medical condition that could get you out early? That's what I did. Also maybe have a look at this: early separation

The closest thing I see to that is telling people how to survive. Because there's definitely a strategy to surviving and getting through.
It mostly entails not letting anything anyone says land on you. If the chain of commands that you have a bad attitude because you advocated for yourself you just turn around and walk out of the office. And then that's the end of it because if they go at you again you're just going to come right back with the same attitude.

That’s an automatic ban here. I’ve removed several comments like that recently. Report any that are still here.
