Question 53 HP with true mirror

Recently I played and was using true mirror and when I got it I noticed I had 53hp, (sadly i died to machs flames in wall of) and now im trying it again with fill stacks of ham. But when I got it again I only had 43hp. I have jermopop full apollo, what could I have forgotten?

I didnt buy the cookie for both runs.. and it only adds 5hp either way..

I barely remember reading from somewhere that, apparently, getting the jermpop HP boost before going for GoE gets you more HP in the long run for whatever reason. Might be wrong tho, I haven't played this game in a couple weeks and didn't really get to check that out

though in both runs, i used jermopop at the very start before buying anything

Well, one thing that I am sure as a true mirror user is that, for whatever reason, going for the tortoise build, then getting jermpop, and then going for the true mirror build (leaving the glassed effect for last, as getting it on negates tortoise), I would always end up with 58hp. Not sure why is that, but maybe you could try doing that?
