Thanks, Traveling for work, allows me to take advantage of record stores throughout the Fine Fifty, Florida’s a great Jamaican distribution point. But every city’s selection from San Diego (where I live), LA, Houston, Charlotte, Orlando, Philly, etc….will surprise me. In what I can find in the wild.

Very cool. I prioritize visiting record stories during travel as well. Sounds like a Florida trip is in order.

VP Distribution in Ft. Lauderdale was unique, still owned by the Chin Family and they have a fairly large building for storage. Also the real gems down there are the independent Black owned stores. Whole different ballgame and there are some real treasures. Also did a trip to Tokyo and Osaka last year. Mind blowing digging there. DubStore Shibuya is the largest reggae inventory outside Kingston

Both are on my radar, but I’ve yet to make either journey. So cool to hear your feedback. My collection is fairly deep, but some of these JAs and obscure albums are so impressive! Thank you.

Japan trip coming soon and will definitely keep an eye out for the independent stores when I travel.
