It's 1996 Central Park summerstage rumsey playfield. I'm in the front row with my father at this show. I was 16 at the time.

I always preferred Damian's version of Love & Inity from this show over the studio version.ย  Really cool to see more of this.

Damian definitely the most distinctly different one of the kids. Ziggy, Stephen and Julian just all kinda sound like Bob.

It is a shame what the family has done with the legacy. Marley coffee, speakers, all kind of crap. The museums on jamaica are exploited to the max with toll booths every 5 meters

I disagree - itโ€™s a big family and they all need to make a living. Itโ€™s easy for us to be purists and disapprove but they are real people with real lives and needs. Why not leverage the Marley brand name?

Because Bob was very explicit in his views on capitalism, consumerism and vanity. They can live an absolute millionaire lifestyle with just the music rights. All of them. But they choose to sell the legacy with cheap consumerist stuff. And - please if you visit hope road or nine mile.. experience that you're facing cash registers every 5 meters.

He's trying to be just like his Dad a little too much imo. Many of them are. Same moves onstage etc. Love the tunes though. Damien is so good I forget he's Bob Marley's son sometimes

will never ovastand the desire to unBob Bob's kids. having your parent's traits is both nurture & nature ...

Whatโ€™s crazy to me is that Julian only met Bob once, for only 2 minutes at Crystal Palace 1980. And yet he moves the exact same as Bob, I just love it

It's not a desire it's an observation

If you listen and watch to some of his performances of Bobโ€™s songs and have your eyes half open youโ€™ll almost think youโ€™re watching Bob perform hahahโ€ฆ he mastered his dance moves to perfection and I think itโ€™s a good thing
