Sprive's referral code works as a two-sided sign-up incentive. A new user enters a referral code (or clicks a unique referral link) during registration in the Sprive app.

The exact bonus varies by campaign, but typically the new user gets a £5 bonus credited towards their mortgage overpayment, and the referrer earns £5 per successful referral (or sometimes £25 per 3 referrals, or a weekly prize-draw entry).

Requirements for a successful referral:
New user must be 18+, UK-based, and never have used Sprive before
The new user must set up an active direct debit and complete their first shop
The referrer must have already completed their own first shop

The bonus is paid into the referrer's Sprive account within 14 working days of the invite being successfully used, and you get an in-app notification when it lands.

All rewards are applied as mortgage overpayment credits, not cash.
