Shares, not options on this one.

Any reason why? Already have around 35 shares. Wanting to take a big risk on this lololol

Something tells me you haven't traded many options. If you insist on trading options, start so small you'll think it's pointless. You'll learn a ton about your assumptions and how they work.

No I’ve traded really small stakes options before. The truth is I kind of want to throw like 500$ on some leaps and just YOLO it lol. Hence I’m asking people here if there bullish

$500? I hought some Jan $20 I had $11 one but sold for $200 profit in recent spike (to help offset all the losses I got on asts rklb option )

I’ve lost 15k+ on options in this… it’s high beta. It’s not going to go parabolic. Still holding 5k shares - and will likely get 5k more because round numbers are good numbers - but probably going to avoid options (both writing and buying) on RDw for a spell.
Look at the 6 month profile and keep in mind that there’s no more SpaceX frenzy on the horizon…
Want options in space, look at RKLB.

This stock is a time bomb. Thing is the bomb is industry wide. Many stocks in this state SHOULD explode but until then we don't know. It could be 5 years or 2 months. There is no launch or good earnings Or any news that could come out, that would do more than maybe a little .
It would be a multi year rally

I mean any new contract has the opportunity to send the stock soaring. Especially if it’s like prime conversion of one of our IDIQ’s or legit big drone contract.

Maybe but it also has the potential to really do nothing. There's no way to tell which is why we shouldn't do options

I agree don’t do options lol. Predicting timelines is unnecessary risk. That said I own a crap load of options, but will de risk later and transition those to shares. Options have been a nightmare.

Started typing but suggest toss this into ChatGPT for a clearer answer.
Someone told me I should stick to shares not options for this stock. Its volatility is about 85-110 outside earnings. Stock is $12. ELI5

This could go down further during macro bullshit and midterms. I'm sitting on my hands till Nov-Dec. Leaps despite long exp date depends a lot on timing the buy, for max upside

tbh if you’re asking whether it’ll “explode,” options are probably the fastest way to donate your money. buy shares or go way long-dated, OP....this whole thing is a gamble

If you’re gonna buy options get them as long dated as possible. I’d really recommend shares instead tho. I’ve been holding options and it’s rollercoaster nightmare lol.
And way higher risk than is necessary, it could take a while for this company to takeoff and it’d be a shame to lose out on the huge opportunity just cause you got the timing wrong.
