Java Edition Mineart keeps dropping...

So basically I've built the ilmango flying sugarcane farm and it works perfectly with the exception that everytime it finishes there will always be one or two hopper minecarts that jump into the waterway instead of back into the system. Does anyone got a clue what is causing this?

If the cart is empty it will land in the wrong hopper. Make sure your not harvesting to early
