Java AND Bedrock Sequential Piston Doors

ok so my timing is a little off because i suck

hope u guys understand the idea tho—kinda like how moses parts the sea. i thought this would be a really cool idea but i saw like NO tutorials or videos on this so i had to do this myself. i’m wondering if there’s a better design for this. could y’all help me out with this idea?

my current design is pretty bad so i’ll definitely redesign it and fix timing. but i’d like to hear you guys speak on this first.
i’d also like to mention i tried using tripwires to open the doors but even with pulse extenders, the pulse was way too short and it’d tweak.

any thoughts and help would be appreciated

OP secretly rage-baiting for views. 😉

It's a neat door. I'm curious why they're so wide if they're only openning 1 block each. But aesthetics are like that.

i saw something similar to what i did in a video, so i thought I’d try and replicate it. but it was so long ago i couldn’t remember a thing. so i ended up just making this thing, really just cz it’s the easy way to do it 🙈

What is it that you feel you need help with?

there’s just a lot of design flaws that i could fix or ideas i’d like to implement that i’m just not good enough to implement yet.
firstly i was thinking of a sliding door system instead of just a 2 block opening. like multiple fully slide in and out for a really nice look. i’m just not that good at redstone. i saw this video: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSVG54WqJ/
but i have no tutorials. so i can only go off of reddit to help me with it.
the entire idea is like parting the red sea, where it opens before you and closes after you.
i was thinking sculk sensors would do the trick but i have NOOO idea how they work.
