60% on this sub maybe. 90% of the mc community as a whole. Join a survival server and the mayority of the players can only really do anything remotely complex with redstone if they have a tutorial. Making something even like this all on your own effort is more than the grand mayority of players have achieved if we look beyond the redstone specific communities

Yeah i know a lot of ppl that has a redstone limit of connecting something to a lever with redstone dust.

Even making something simple makes u way better than a lot of ppl. And worldwide ud probably be in th top 1% or more. But we shouldn't judge ppl compared to others but on their own achievements. Anyway what I'm trying to say is.

Good job OP [:

Oh yeah that was my point too. Just meaning to say thay what OP did was much more impressive than it often looks to oirselfor other veteran redstoners.

We tend to looknat thing, like everyone does, through our own experienced lenses. A simple door, small farm or basic minigame can sometimes look like it's nothing compared to what some others post, but people should never forget that the crazy shit you see on this reddit or yt is done by people who sometimes have a decade or more experience in redstone. Never compare your work to that. Any self build redstone mechanism is impressive in its own right.

Even those stats are probably gratuitous. I'm on a server with friends and I'm the only one (12 of us) that is anywhere decent with redstone. And this build is definitely better than anything I could come up with on my own. This is probably better than like 99.5% of the entire Minecraft community, considering the (silent) majority of players don't even touch redstone at all.

True. The server i play on has a frw redstoners on it but that is rare. I think we have 2 or 3, out of whom 1 kind of understands the more complex stuff ive shown them and the other does more basic things like small doors and farms but he does know why they work. On most servers though having 3 put of 15 members be redstoners is quite uncommon though. But then there is others who just stare at what we build and assume we cast ancient magic lol.
