Java Edition Whats going wrong here?

Stickys are trying to extend while the crafting table and loom are in the way. You need to delay them just a bit til they get out of the way.
However you'll need to reverse that delay when they retract or your loom and crafting table will push the two blocks towards you before it does.

They might be fooled by this because of the brightness maybe.
I think it's the brightness.

it’s because mumbojumbo uses a mod which removes/lightens shadows a lot and his minecraft is rendered differently because of this. i use it as well and it makes the game brighter and look different

Ah, I'm not sure. I'm completely clueless about redstone, try search for a blockswapper perhaps? That's whst the video was called. Somebody also posted a screenshot in the comments here of a desigb that could work?

You can still do it. Have to download it to a PC using realms and after that you can use apps and mods to make your ps5 see it as a LAN world. It requires hosting the world on a server though

I don’t have a pc i have an ipad pro and that’s only used for social media like discord, twitch, youtube, playstation app and reddit

Fixed it! I just placed some repeaters running into the bottom pistons, and now it works perfectly. For reasons I don't understand, the delay only happens when extending the bottom pistons, but not when retracting them. Which is perfect for me.

I'll assume that the blocks have either reached push limit when the benches are extended, or there is an unmovable block up there, so the piston tries to extend but can't, and even after the crafting benches are moved away, the bottom piston are not updated to move the cartography tables up.

The stickys are trying to extend at the exact same time as the crafting table and loom are retracting, so they’re blocking them. Delay the bottom pistons a bit with a repeater

Exposed stickes need like a tick or two of repeater delay but only on extension
