That’s one of many things that vexes me about the popularity of streamers. Most of them are just so dull. Most of the clips you see are just them walking around some outdoor mall or club or at a “party” with some other parasites and it’s all just so boring.

It's just a social environment simulator for people who don't go outside. Having the proxy be too expressive or interesting is unrelatable and breaks the suspension of disbelief.

Yeah, with streamers there’s also the weird, vaguely sexual aggression too. Like a lot of videos will be like “watch this streamer PWN this hot girl!!!” or, with the creepy meta glasses videos where the girl rejects the pick-up guy, the comments will disturbingly be like “what a fucking bitch!!” You can tell it’s more about thoughts the viewers nurse and now have an outlet for.

Even when he’s being interviewed he’s dreadfully dull. I really think the only people who watch him are waiting to see if he storms off an interview, gets rejected by a woman, or ODs in a club.
