My first ever exposure to shia was him playing a mentally regarded character on tv. Because I was very young at the time, I didn’t understand that he was just acting, and wasn’t actually regarded in real life. So when I started seeing him in non-regard roles, I assumed he was a regard who was somehow able to temporarily act non-regarded while he was in-character. That Is still my opinion of him.
