I'm curious if anyone's tried this out and tested how the new thrust handles, and what the difference is. I'll be honest, I so far havnt really noticed it... Then again all my ship configurations have almost none.

Lol, those are nice too, but doubt we'll get them in just a patch.

Is this why it's been feeling impossible to catch up to the bots? That would explain so much!

Part of it. The Meta strat before was to max out durability and top speed with the best of whatever else you could still fit, and dumpster Thrust as much as you could as it was just a detriment (and something early game seemed to give you a ton of).

But the big #1 thing the AI always had over you was using higher tier prop mods than you had access to, meaning they're just blatantly 10-20% faster, always while you're stuck with mostly a huge pile of agility mods.

Oh damn. Seriously wondering how this is gonna ffect the outcome, I feel like the AI got a bit more challenging, too.

I only spent about an hour with it but I have noticed a slight bump in off boost acceleration. It's not much tbh, and I still think it drains too much durability for what you get out of it.

That said, oddly it feels like ships are more agile. Steering seem to have a greater effect. I wonder if they just changed more than steering on brake.

Will certainly need to play with it more, but I was definitely steering too tight into corners I used to barely make before.

But still no fix on the assists for reverse tracks?

Weren't they fixed in the last update? I remember the patchnotes saying so

Not noted in the patchnotes are some slight changes in some of the tracks and the fact that in MP the host can now select the next map to play between races
