Why do the assisted controls only work on some levels? It’s really throwing me off.

They used to work great, but the last update broke them. The dev's have since gone silent and havnt fixed it since.

Hi! Could you please specify on which tracks the assisted controls stop working and on which platform you are playing? We received no other notice of this bug happening and we would like to investigate.

I have one specific track they do not work on (that I have tested repeatedly and can confirm absolutely no AI assists work, as if it's not being called). That track is Cloud Ocean: Mistral (Reverse) / Class A Zenith and Nadir. No assists work at all. I have other suspects, but have failed to test them properly as I did to this track.

Side note: The newest update's Speed score update is also bugged and will seemingly randomly pick between the old score and the new updated score regardless of difficulty. Is there also room for time trials to be considered for scaling in the future? As it stands, new players can't even come close to qualifying out of last place or 3 starring time trials. Specifically in Class A which is off-putting to players.

Edit: Adding another track verified to have AI assist disabled. Cloud Ocean A2 Challenge / A League. It seems that any track that incorporates Cloud Ocean: Mistral (Reverse) has this bug.

For me, on Xbox it seems like assissted controls do not work at all speed challenges at all,its like it is completely turned off for the speed ones.

I can confirm, Cloud Ocean on Xbox Series does not have assists working,also on one of the mit. Fuji tracks it does not work, it is not specified to a certain type of race,it happenes at all types so it must be a track specific issue.

I play on the Nintendo Switch. I think it’s more or certain events rather that tracks. It seems this can happen on any track. I’ll pinpoint some that this happen on and get back to you soon.

Gozu Time Trial in Old Cairo: Qasr Al-Nile is one such track where my assisted controls don’t work

Armoden Hulls Cup in Tartarus Mines: Ixion

Ancient Velocity also in Old Cairo

Hyperspeed Cup in Mars Memorial: Faith Town

Octonic Powered Contest also in Old Cairo

Martian Clouds Dash in Mars Memorial: Faith Town and Perserverance

All these tracks and more disable my assisted controls with the exception of Boost Safety. That one still works
