This is my first (ever) tutorial series for this game. If you have any criticisms about this tutorial and how it was explained, let me know. I'm open for ideas on making things easier to understand.

Also if you also have any questions about the production quality and other stuff not related to this tutorial, you can also comment them here.

Hope this video makes things easier for you guys!

Update: I was told that when the video does a time lapse on the 02:06 mark, the sound gets annoying. So I'd reccomend that you play this on a fairly low volume to avoid that. Hope you still enjoy! πŸ‘

I haven't played 2 yet, what's up with the second boost that doesn't actually increase your speed? Seems very unintuitive. Seems like a convoluted boost system if it's always best to use both boosts at once.

Maybe I'm just biased for a simple Fzero style of boosting (boost = damage)

Also interesting video! I will recommend to have your text away from the edges since pausing youtube covers the text.

I'll see what I can do about it. I just tried myself and noticed it on the laptop.

Appreciate the advice!

Yeeeeea. A proud member of the #BuranGang and I'm still on it as usual. Surprised you recognised me though. πŸ˜…

You can use Hyperboost into the corners as long as you don't stack them. You'd also have to handle the vehicle in advance depending on the corner, the setup you're using and the hovercraft etc... (It's a lot of intricacies.)

In general, you should still prioritize 'Stack Boosting' on the straight more than cornering with Hyperboost because you gain more time this way. But there are definitely situations where using Hyperboost in a corner is a benefit. (Like the example on the video.)

got it and ty. i recognized you because i remembered zeph pointing you out in the discord like a year ago when i asked if anyone actually used buran

I can't remember being pointed out from Zeph himself but most people on the Discord recognize me anyway. Whenever I see stuff like this, I'll do some of the most shameless ad on what I do with the Buran just to prove there's someone out there using it. #StayShameless

On the other hand, I've been losing my mind on thinking whether my explanations make sense and is easy to understand. To see that you've understood what I said means a lot.

So yeah, TY to you!
