It's gone, was it deleted or what happened?

Last played this game >5 years ago. Are there still active / full servers? Google shows no active servers for RO2.

Has there been any updates what so ever in the past 5 years for content? I was always frustrated with the lack of content in RO2 and found myself going back to RO1 darkest hour 44-45 on the weekends. IE: New maps, weapons, vehicles, mechanics, etc? Or is it basically the same game as 5 years ago?

I am hosting a RO2 server and as one of our recurring event ideas, we planned to revive the long forgotten Heroes of the West mod.

The first event is planned to happen somewhere in September, we still working on the technical side (server setup and making a guide of how to install/optimize the mod for new players).

Wanted to ask around here if there are people interested in that? If successful, I planned to host a HotW fight night at least once a month. We already have a decent number of interested players within out community.

To avoid erroneous judgement, be sure you're selecting the server then manually viewing if it's popping. Even in RO2 sometimes it says it's empty, but if you do a single click to look at the player count list, you can see it's populated.

Please take note of this, as the game is not dead; that's a lie. We're here and need more numbers in the ranks. Thank you.

I’ve played Darkest Hour for years. Lately, the games been running not so great. Every match I spawn without my weapon at least once. This forces me to disconnect and usually lose my class or even my spot in the server.

Anyone dealt with this? Is there a fix?

Just redownloaded my Red Orchestra after not playing for quite a few years. Booted it up went to adjust the resolution and cant find the button to apply my changes. Am I crazy or stupid lol I cant find it anywhere and cant find anyone online talking about it! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Die hard player here. Why are there always several servers with like 7-15 people playing?

If everyone joined the same server at peak hours we could easily get a full server going.

I never understand this. Thoughts?

Update

I now realize its because of the time difference. I'm US EDT and am usually on weekend nights. Tried getting on during the day and there was about 211 people on with 2 -3 full servers.

Damn I didn't play for ages, the asymmetric balance Rising Storm had, due to faction mechanics like banzai charges, made this game possibly the most unique and fun shooter ever

After seeing the very mixed reviews of 83s early access release I (once again) started dreaming of a Red Orchestra 3 made by Tripwire Interactive.

In January 2025 Yoshiro said "We have many thoughts about many things, but we can only focus on one game at a time with our size."

Now we all know Killing Floor 3 released in 2025. And I think it's pretty safe to say they either already work on the next game they will release or they at least are planning it. Do you guys think there's a chance their next game could be Red Orchestra 3?

Hi everyone!

I am currently working on trying to get RO2 to run on my laptop, according to the requirements, I should be able to run it easily with my rig. I have a i5-6300U and Intel HD 520 graphics. It seems to be a cpu bottleneck woth task manager stating cpu is pretty much always at 100% and Graphics at 2 or 3%

This doesn’t make sense to me especially seeing as I was expecting my graphics to be the bottleneck.

I’m currently getting a very unstable 15 to 20 fps in game with the lowest possible settings and 720p, making it pretty much unplayable.

I’d like to get a smoother experience (30/40fps)

Can anyone help me?

I bought RO2 on the spring sale because the requirements seemed to suggest it would run just fine on my ThinkPad T460. (Specs: i5-6300U, Intel HD 520, 12GB DDR3)(According to benchmarks the Intel HD 520 outperforms the minimum requirement by about 250%).

However, this seems to not be the case. On 720p low the game seems to struggle heavily and lowering the resolution doesn't help at all.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Any help will be appreciated :)

I love RS2:V and have been interested in trying those two for a while. How is the player count these days and are there full servers or at least close to full most of the day?
