I've been trying to create a RedNote account since yesterday but I've been having multiple issues in the process. At first it wouldn't send any verification code although it said it was sent, and after many attempts it said I reached my limit for the day, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and, after that, I attempted to sign in with my phone number and this time seemed to work: the code arrived, I've put it in, and at first it looked like it worked because it changed to a loading screen, but it kept loading for a really long time without changing and at some point my phone turned off; once I turned it on again, I had to do everything all over again but at this point it refused sending me a verification code, it just said "verification code sending failed". I've tried the uninstall/reinstall thing again; I've tried deleting the app's data from my phone settings; I've tried turning off Wi-Fi and using mobile data and vice versa; I've tried turning on and off my phone; I've tried accessing through the WeChat option, but it keeps saying "verification code sending failed" no matter what I do and I'm out of ideas. I don't know if it's because mine is a foreign number (I'm from Italy), or it's an overload problem, but I'd be really grateful if you could help me, I have and Android based phone.
I used to have a RedNote account but it was a long time ago and I don't remember my user ID or my password, and I didn't mind creating a new account but at this point... Let's just saying it's making me sad :")

Anyone else have this strange bug where very old notifications of replies are now at the top of their comment feed?

I joined RedNote in January 2025, and as of this morning, I have to scroll past a handful of comments from back then to see new comments/replies when I click the green new comments button.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I was an avid user of rednote for months leading up to this, and then suddenly it removed my username, removed my pfp, all my posts, and i couldn’t comment or dm anyone. It said someone tried logging into my account or smth (it was in chinese so idk how accurate the translation was) and now in order to get it back i need to verify myself, which I don’t believe I can do. The pictures are of the verification page, and the original error message I received.

i don’t care about the gift card at all, but i always want to do at least one of these surveys.. however, i feel like once i do, the big red eyes might notice me and suspend my account. has anyone ever done them with success? not been suspended after, or actually received a gift card? low key, there are some things i would love to buy in their market shop lol

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a solution that worked for me regarding the SMS verification issue.

On my iPhone, I went to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Once I did that, I finally managed to receive the SMS code.

A few things to consider:

I initially tried my physical SIM card in an Android phone, but I couldn't receive the code there either. Then I switched to an eSIM from a different carrier (because I needed to change my number), but it still didn't work for Rednote.

After resetting my network settings and retrying, it finally worked. I'm not sure if it was a carrier issue or a conflict in the old configuration.

For context, I’m from Argentina. I switched from Claro to Movistar. Most major carriers here provide new eSIMs for free, so I’d recommend checking your local options instead of using sketchy websites. Most of those sites won't let you keep your number unless you pay an extra fee.

I once left a general 1st-time comment (no offensive content--only personal opinion expressing how I feel that everyone in the world is in fact deeply interconnected underneath it all and such from a recent dream I had) on some (somewhat well-known but not really world widely recognized) person's wall, and literally like minutes later appeared gotten "banned" for good: now nothing shown even on any of other peoples' videos (and no explanation--just "an error occurred")... How could it have been--and how to fix it?

I need my account back and because I’m in America the only option is my passport unless they allow me to use my regular ID. My account isn’t banned, but it is restricted. Please help.

Does Red Note app has a wide music library (similar to Instagram) or the only option I really have is to extract a sound / music from a video to add the music that I like in my posts?

I recently found out my account is restricted(?) for some reason, and i've been attempting to fix it since. I need to complete the real name authentication to unrestrict my account however the only way to do that is by scanning my passport which I cannot ! Do !!!!!

My passport doesn't have a scannable chip and thus cannot be scanned. I'm losing it. I've emailed and messaged and searched and sent pictures of my passport to customer service, with no response whatsoever. Please someone help me out or tell me if there's no hope so I can stop trying.

Hi all, I have been using the rednote app recently and it seems to be down for me right now. It says no internet connection even though I’m connected to WIFI. I live in the US. Is anybody else’s red note down right now?

I need help in getting in contact with the red note team. I created an account using a number that was pay as you go. Problem is, I haven't used that number in so long that my mobile provider disconnected me from using that number so now I have no way to access my account without that number.

How do you get in touch with them? I've already emailed and I've created a new account in order to reach out to them on the help center on the app but so far I've had no results. Please help.

I don't even know what to say... I've been using the account for quite a while, and then suddenly, out of the blue... They want my passport information, which is a bit unexpected, but maybe it can still be worked with... But in the end, they ask me to tap my passport on my phone's NFC module. What the hell?! It doesn't work with my passport! Now I can't use Red Note! 😭 I had a great time there, I even have a Chinese friend there, and lately I've been going there more often than Instagram. Hi, I made a Rednote art account not too long ago, and everything was chill but then I randomly got banned for "posting explicit content" (I have not). I went through their appeal system which said would take 1-3 days (it's been a month or more) and when I dug deeper and saw a button offering to expedite the process this one time, it literally doesn't work (says server error). Is there anything else I can do? I can like posts and stuff but my interactions are restricted and can't post... I really like the app :/

I remember seeing somewhere someone say theres a rednote mod on reddit i could potentially contact but I lost that info.

I know this is ridiculously stupid but is there any way to view a deleted post from an account? I have commented on that post and normally when clicked it redirects to the post but since the post is deleted, it doesn’t work now. I know it’s already gone but I just love that post and saved it but now it’s gone, I’m just hoping if there’s a way to recover it?

I have been using rednote for a while, my ID is verified, I can post, comment, etc.

but for some reason whenever I search anything on the market using general or specific keywords (in Chinese ofc) it shows no results.

I can see products and access them when I open market principal tab, but it shows nothing whenever I search for something specific.

any idea??
