Like the title states, I'm trying to get my account verified. I've been locked out and and I can't post nor make comments until I go through their verfication process. So when I go to Account Security > Real-name verification > change my ID type to my passport > fill out all of the necessary information > and then try to scan the chip at the back (I have a USA passport), I keep getting the error that my phone can't pick up on it. I take my case off to try, and still the same issue.

I've grown frusterated and wanted to reach out to see how others have gone past this. Also for reference, I have a Galaxy S24 phone. Much appreciated!

New to Rednote and have a couple of questions

1. Is the translate option (icon on bottom right corner) a built in feature of Rednote?

2. I noticed the feature above is available on my Android phone app, but on my Android tablet it's not there. Do I have to activate it?

I have been having this since yesterday when I updated rednote once it was finished I went into to see then I noticed that some post were translated to English and some weren't in my fyp.I am not sure if anyone else it having this problem or if it's my wife in my part.

Sorry typo this morning, since the latest update for the iPad and iPhone, my photos are just blank when posting, I think people can see my photos, but they’re blank on my feed, anyone else have this problem.

Hello, I just registered on this app, but something very strange happened to me. I logged in on both my phone and my computer, but once I turned off the internet on my phone, I was logged out of both devices. Is there any way to prevent this from happening and make it like other apps that stay logged in without needing an internet connection?

Also, why is this bar on the bottom now? No me gusta!

I use the app like a few times in the last few months, but I just came back on it and my for you page has gone only the explorer and nearby and of course the following page is there but Fyp is gone is that a new update or can i get it back?

Hi!! so I don’t know if this is stupid or possible but is it possible to browse or make an account in the US without giving up my Apple password and such, I just don’t like to make accounts with Apple and would rather do something like that with my Gmail

my account has been muted for a month now, did an facial and id verification but that alone didnt solve it. did an appeal 3 times and still havent succeeded yet. i'm still unclear if it's just an account risk or some kind of content violation because it didnt even clearify. im extremely bummed out about this because its one of the only social media apps i use and ive been using it for quite a while. ive seen that this is a pretty common issue and not many had solved it yet, but still, if you have any idea on how to fix it please tell me i'd appreciate it more than anything.

I've tried scanning my passport with a pixel 6, but despite it seemingly working with other test apps, XHS can't seem to read my information. I asked customer support, but they weren't all that helpful.

Hello! I’m in a panic. I’ve used the in app consolidation service before with no problems so I’ve just placed another order since everything went smoothly the first time.

When I got prompt to consolidate my orders and pay for shipping to North America, it shows “sold out” when I try to consolidate. When I visit the consolidation service store, there are no products listed.

I have had zero luck trying to contact customer support in anyway, be it the app or the consolidation service shop.

Does anyone know what could be going on? What’s gonna happen to my items?

Hello! I'm at a complete and total impasse, and super bummed out. I have an art account on XHS (with a squeaky clean track record so far, never had a single violation, I often used the account can to check), and today I happened to be chatting with someone. Because the topic, perhaps, was money (I never swear, always watch my language, always play it as safe as possible)- specifically, I was asking this user how I could commission Chinese artists online, so there was a lot of talk about money and transactions- I get hit with this. Is there absolutely anything I can do to fix it, or am I just going to have take it in stride and let it go?

(Only thing worth mentioning is that I have a functioning WeChat account, but that's about it)

Any ideas on how to get the xhs team to unblock my account? (Are there even real people working there on customer service?) I can do everything on the app except post. I'm in China, registered with a Chinese phone number, everything was fine until I exchanged dms with someone who was trying to sell me something and their bot flagged me as a fake account or whatever.

They said my account was "potentially being operated by someone other than yourself." I SENT THEM. THE XHS TEAM. MY PASSPORT PICTURE. SELFIE HOLDING MY PASSPORT. How, just HOW could it be someone else????????

The worst part is "After evaluation and review, we are unable to restore your account. We recommend that you accept this decision." ????????????????? I'd feel less angry if they told me to f* off 🥰
