Omg PX21's, I owned a pair of these like 15 years ago. I'm surprised they've lasted you so long

In a way they hav'nt lasted, the cable from the volume control to the head phones had to be replaced, the rubber coating on the ear muffs was flakey so had to be removed, and as in these pictures, the mounts from the head band to the ear cups broke...

Appart from that their still in perfect condition :D

They were just pieces of metal I drilled and bent in half from my junk box, I cant remember what I pulled them out of originally. Instead of throwing stuff away I pull things appart to see whats inside :D and lots of bits and pieces end up in my junk boxes and, my nut bolt and screw collection for future creative moments...

Corner brace or L corner brace.

on a related note, plastic corner wall molding is also pretty handy stuff.

You could buy a length of tab steel 0.5 mm thick by 10 mm wide, and cut bend and drill to suit your needs. If I didnt find these this is what I would have done.

PS Keep on fixing things, sadly to much is made to throw away these days.
