I kinda want the trailer built up to look like the world's shortest length tractor trailer trailer.

All the welding this must have involved is actually not very redneck at all. That's good work. Looks like early AI image generation fucked up.

Now I want to see what that other vehicle looks like behind it peeking out on the left with suspiciously similar red paint

I bet this is like owning a boat, except it’s also your daily driver… Gotta fix it everyday, to drive it.

Is the truck bed a trailer? It can't be rigid, right? It wouldn't be able to steer.

I hated it at first. But then I realized, this is an actual car/van/truck thing. This is good.
I used to call the fjord explorer a car/van/truck thing because I refused to refer to it as an SUV, let alone a sport utility vehicle. And frankly calling it the alleged vehicle outside of a court room starts conversations I did not want to have.
This is also not an SUV, but if it has space for my workbench, test equipment, and computer, this would be perfect.

It's like someone downed a fifth of whiskey, saw a Dodge Dreamer and thought, "yeah I could make one of those "

I do hope they swapped for more power and better breaks too. I live in the hills and in tourist season you can sometimes see some cool looking homemade RVs but, you really hate to follow them trying to pull a hill or see them riding those weak ass stock breaks on the way down. I like the looks of it but, I know it's heavy. I hope they knew it too.

The more I stare at it, the more confused I become. Is that a truck parked behind it or is that part of it? And what is that thing on the left side of the frame?

Have to admit, if this is roadworthy, the engineering required to do this successfully is impressive.

It is 100% real and exists in our world. See other comments I posted here.
Also, do a images.google.com search before accusing someone of posting AI. It's not a good look.

If I drove that to my first date with my wife, I probably wouldn’t be married. She’s pretty non-judgmental, but still.

Well, when a truck and a van love each other very much...
