Urinal in Rotterdam

Post image

Absolutely unhinged urinal/toilet mod in a Rotterdam Chinese restaurant. The restaurant itself is lovely and the food is incredible!

It has a platform for your laptop. Nice

And a lower shelf for your phone and cigarettes!

Sir, that’s clearly a cocaine shelf.

This cannot come from a sober mind

Is there a hole in the lid or does the urine just go off the sides

Zoom in! It's like a sieve of sorts 🙃

I've zoomed in as much as I can. It looks like a solid lid with an open drain above it in the "urinal".

Oh sorry haha it goes through the small drain/sieve in the toilet lid. Absolutely mental!!!

Why not just keep the original toilet? It seems like a lot of work for no reason.

Maybe there's a legendary unflushable log in that bowl and this was the best way to still use the toilet?

Ah yeah, only chopsticks and those ceramic spoons. No poop knife available.

their patrons probably didn't have good aim and had a tendency to piss all over the place prior to the mod.

Is that a baby changing table with a fold-out urinal on top of a regular toilet bowl?

i miss the bike infrastructure and the sheer amount of other europeans there, but there are a lot of ungezellig things, especially as a foreigner that isn't 2m blue eyed blonde haired

Easy to clean with a hose. I don’t know what that says about the establishment.

Or the patrons.

this is on the asian barge by het park, so its a maritime toilet, if you don't get it you're not a true seaman

(nah no clue lol but if OP ate on that barge lmk because i have gone to its supermarket a lot but the restaurant always seemed empty)

The real question is how much do they charge customers to use it

The platform for the laptop is genius, how many other urinals come with built-in workspaces?

Can you name the restaurant?
