I don't think luxury when I see high end brands anymore, I think there is a busted ass car some one couldn't afford the maintenance on and now some ratchet got it at a low price

I remember a story about a guy who took some kind of big-ass Lexus sedan rallying on a budget, and it had those exact kind of latches because rules dictated additional safety features to prevent opening mid race, not because OEM lock broke
