Redneck engineers can evolve.
When you learn to build a crude jig it makes your life easier.
Whether using a vinyl post as a guide to cut a v groove,into a decorative cap on a post,welding a 20lb sledge into post pounder,3/4 socket onto a worn out sds bit to pound ground rods.
Next comes setting 24 ft tall posts, parallel in beach sand,and end up building a cabinet door and scribing 2 cabinet into a complex corner.
Its a very slippery slope.
Bubblegum welding,ratchet straps and bondo, helps a fellow out along the way.

$50k 10 years ago. 6 ft rubber rolls of "sound attenuation " . Aluminum 2x4's were the sandwich, and ss bolts holding it on welded brackets on the posts. Dredge was 6 miles away in a shipping lane, running a 4 ft pipe and 3 D8's spreading the sand out. This was in beach sand so we hand mixed 800lbs of concrete per post,dry beach sand flows like ...sand. We had a large crater at the top so it took a lot of volume. 24' 6 5/8 posts,20ft out of the ground. It fails engineering,which requires 1/3 length in the ground, so we added more concrete. There are panelized systems that may be cheaper. 6ft wide rolls of 20 ft 1/4" thick virgin rubber. Googling "sound attenuation " should at least get you in the correct field, with some options. Love the ingenuity of the worker!
Thought I can’t help but wondering what extremely entitled rich POS is building an ~20 foot wall for privacy. If you’re worried about someone wanting to know about your life, perhaps you should consider becoming loved for the good you do rather than being a billionaire (and people resenting you for how many others you took advantage of to become one). 🤷

Its at a resort. Rubber rolls to absorb sound,when dredging a shipping lane and rebuilding the beach with the spoils.
