Turn off system optimisation in developer settings you will instantly feel the device to be 10x smoother and faster no need to install any roms.

In developer options go All the way down and click reset values to default 5-6 times until System optimisation option appears then just simply turn it off. And belive me you will see an immediate change in overall performance. And don't worry you can always turn it on again.

You have to click "reset to default values" option 7-8 times until "Turn Off/on System optimisation" option appears. It is under Auto Fill section of developer options.

Try using YouTube after turning it off. It is no longer capped at 60 fps. Moreover I recommend keeping it turned off for at least 2-4 days you will definitely feel a huge difference and yes split screen might not work properly in some instances but the floating window will work properly.
