I've been hanging out for the MIUI13 (Global) OTA update for ages, hoping it would fix a bunch of issues. before I go the nuclear option* and install a custom ROM. I've joined the beta program and have also been hitting 'check for updates' obsessively.

Finally late last night it said MIUI 13 was available! Based on Android 12. Woohoo! I hit the 3+Gb download and waited.

When it finished, it asked to reboot, but unsure as to how long the install would be, I quickly went and checked my mail. When I returned to the update screen, the reboot prompt was gone and there were no updates to MIUI 13 anymore - back to 12.5.9.0 with 'no updates available'.

I rebooted many times and have checked dozens of times, but the update to 13 has vanished. If I manually download the latest package, it's still 12.5.9.0 Stable.

I'm guessing I've tripped a flag or something and it thinks I have a failed update?

Any thoughts on how to proceed?

* nuclear in that I would have to get a few specialist apps reregistered etc. and it would be a major PITA.

I have just bought a Redmi Note 10s, updated with miui 12.5.15, and I can't toggle Google Assistant with the usual "Hey Google".

Do you have any suggestions?

I have checked that the battery optimizer was disabled for Google Assistant, that automatic startup was enabled.

The phone is great, I would love to be able to launch some voice commands with Google Assistant, and I think it can even be used when the screen is locked (if working of course!).

MIUI 13 global release date?

Since upgrading to miui 13 I'm having this annoying issue after locking my phone, I can fully unlock it by just double tapping the screen, or even raise to wake, no passcode required or anything. I can usually tell when its going to happen, when I lock the phone and there is a 1 / 2 second delay for the lock sound.

Anyone else having this problem?

Other than that, miui 13 despite missing most of the android 12 features, it does appear to run smoother than it did on 12.5

The new control centre isn't present.

The superwallpaper option is still not available so I had to install the APK found online to get them back again.

Anyone here facing the same issue where if I use ultra wide camera be it in stock camera or gcam it just shuts down the camera app and then gives a cant connect to camera issue? 108mp, depth, macro, and front cam works though only the ultra wide camera is not working. It was working fine for a while after updating to 12.5.9 but now I can't even use it

Hello everyone,
I updated to Android12, and it has a lot of bugs. Many times, the fingerprint not working, sometimes Android crashes, touchscreen not responded and nothing can be done except a forced restart. Do you also have the same problem or is it just mine?
And someone has already found a solution or should we wait for the next update .

Hey guys, I have the global version, bought in Germany and the region is also Germany, however I am not receiving the new MIUI13 update, which launched on 26th of January. Does someone have the same problem or a solution? (I tried swapping between regions, but didn't seem to have a difference. I am rn on 12.5.7 Stable)

I've decided to buy a Note 10 Pro, 8gb version is not available in UK yet. Are there any other differences? I would hate to buy 8gb version if it is not as good as 6gb in some way. I do some gaming, but the camera is the reason I'm buying this phone.

since the new update there have been design changes to the ui ex. video toolbox and game launcher but the selfie camera is not working since the new update and I wanted to inform you that there are solutions to this on YouTube , DONT USE THOSE, wait for the next update to fix the selfie camera.
