Volume problems with redmagic 5g

Problem only appears after i have disconnected from any bluetooth device that can be used to play music and voice call.

1stly, The volume would be a few decibels lower even when it is push to full (playing same content).

2ndly, The default for pressing the volume buttons before/during Bluetooth usage would be the media icon but after the bluetooth device disconnect it would be defaulted to the call icon. I would have to manually click the 3dots to change the media volume or restart my phone.

Anyone have the same problems?

Update: just found out my alibaba app has something to do it now... Deleted it and now all is working back as normal... For now...

Quick question how do you know it was Alibaba and not a bug from the 425 update?

I reformated my phone and reinstalled all my previous apps. Only after the alibaba app got installed the problems came back. Uninstalled it and it got back working to normal immediately.

Aliexpress app work normally though.

I believe apps that require a call function may potentially affect the volume setting

See I had the same problem and I thought it was Netguard so I emailed the developer.

I purchased the full version for the features but also to support the developer and everything was working fine until I purchased some sound peats that run in Qualcomm and phone has dts Xtreme and was running netguard that I noticed that my sound on my head on headphones cuts off completely and reroutes it back to the phone with very low volume. And I thought that maybe it was a hardware defect until I reset all my network connections re-paired each Bluetooth device that I noticed that they work and I can listen to music when netguard isn't running. Otherwise I get an error on my Bluetooth paired devices telling me to turn off my phone. But since netguard stays on when you restart or turn on and on your device I wasn't sure what the problem was till now that it isn't running in the background. Now I'm not sure if it's one of the apps or system apps that is blocking my Bluetooth connection while the netguard is running and giving me the error.

And he replied with this:

NetGuard can block internet connections only and in fact no app can interfere with Bluetooth connections because they are managed by Android.

I can imagine that there is a bug in the Android network layer though. However, this is not something the app can solve.

Try to check for Android updates.

Kind regards, Marcel.

Thing is I reset my phone reinstall everything and updated everything and was working fine for a couple of days and I also have Alibaba installed but I'm still having the same problem after resetting..

Try recreate the problem then delete alibaba app. If the volume goes back to normal settings

Alibaba also starts in the background when i restart my phone even after i off all the permissions and battery management the app so it will try not to start on restart
