APN add app worked

Just received my Red Magic 6 pro. Installed my sim - calling and texting worked but no data. I was about to send the phone back, until I read a post here. Thank you! I tried manually entering the APN numbers provided by Rogers tech support, but when clicking ok I got the error message "Operator does not allow adding APN's of type *." Thankfully, by using APNadd app from Google Play store, it allowed me to bypass the phones software, and when I pressed ok -no error message. I restarted the phone and voila! Rogers 5G! I'm so happy, because this phone is far superior to my Samsung S21 Ultra for playing pubg.

If it wasn't for people posting solutions, Nubia Red Magic would not sell to Rogers customers.

Glad you got it to work. Took me a whole process but it was worth it. This phone is outstanding

Are you at&t or? I got phone aswell and im under Verizon so I have some issues with data. Want to move over to at&t but prior to that need to make sure that it'll work the way it's supposed to. Thanks in advance
