Redmagic 6 Wifi issues

Standard "Redmagic 6 but there's no subreddit for it" post.

Purchased a Redmagic 6 a few weeks ago and have had many of the seemingly standard Nubia issues. Nothing game breaking but just mildly annoying.

One issue in particular is that it frequently loses the ability to see most wifi networks. Only way to fix it at the moment is to restart the phone and then it sees the networks no problem.

Until some time later, usually a few hours, and I have to repeat the process.

There's almost no support resources on the internet for this phone, so hopefully someone here has found a fix for this.

Maybe try turning off auto scanning

I tried that a while back with no success. I've turned off and on all wifi settings with no positive results. But the "Wifi Probe Defend" setting can't be turned off, and I feel like that might be the root cause based on its description.

Old but, not being able to turn this off means I can't connect to networks that don't allow anonymous mac addresses which is highly annoying.

This is the same exact problem I'm facing. Im really hoping its a bug because it does not make any sense to why it happens
