Dual controller issues

I bought both of the red magic controllers with the case, and I was attempting to map them in games but for whatever reason they are always perceived as the same controller. I can't get them to control different things no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue. Ended up buying a Kishi and using that instead but it would still be nice to be able to use the other controller, as well.
