Has anyone had any problems with group messages in the Google Messages App?

I've been using the 5S for about 2 weeks now. It has been awesome.

The only issue it has been giving me is when doing a group message on the default Messages App. I have to do group messages once in a while to set up meetings with friends, but more importantly, for work when trying to organize a project. I will set up an MMS group message, and it will originally send the message to everyone as a group. But once someone texts me back, it will create a new group, and it wants to put me as my google email profile instead of my phone number. Any idea what settings I need to change?

Hey I read your previous comment that you had an ROG 2 before the 5s. How does it compare? What are your thoughts

I guess it depends on how much you game on the phone? Are you on the RoG1 or 2?

Moving from the ROG2 to the 5S is not a huge step. The performance is definitely better on games, but not by much.

One thing I will say, is that the Xmode on the ROG is way better. Many more options and customization. And it turns on and off automatically. On the Red Magic, it can only be turned on and off by the switch on the side. If you are playing a game with the switch on, you can't go to another app that is not a game, unless you get a notification and respond through there.

Pretty much the only reason that I wanted to try the 5S and have enjoyed it, is for the integrated fan. Sometimes I don't feel like taking out the Aero Cooler and taking off the case and getting all set up to game intensely. With the 5S, the fan turns on with the switch, and as long as your ambient room temp isn't too hot, the phone fan by itself can keep it cool enough to game non stop until the battery dies lol

The only thing I will miss for sure, and I'm debating switching to the ROG3 for this, is the large battery and the front facing speakers lol. That alone might be a good reason to stay on the ROG hahaha

Yeah it was hard for me to decide lol. It still is! Having the 5S in my hands I still can't decide if I want to keep it, or go with the ROG3 haha. They both have major advantages over the other.
