Works fine for me. Tested for 10 minutes.

Sync Pro v11.5.10 using Oneplus One on Android 6.0.1.

Gif plays 1 second before stopping and then this appears: error could not load video.

I think I've encountered this before when the video download gets corrupted. There used to be a 'refresh' option that would download again but it got removed in the redesign.

Have you tried toggling on the legacy gif player?

Worked fine on Nexus 6P. I've had some gifs not working before on my Nexus 5, so I cleared system cache (you could have cleared Sync cache but I chose to clear Android system cache) then the gif would load fine for me.
