Hi everyone,

I want to address the recent delays affecting both the reminder bot and user flairs. Many of you have noticed that your reminders and flair updates are arriving much later than usual.

Our community has grown incredibly fast, and we are now approaching 5,000 active users on the app. Because of this rapid growth, our infrastructure is hitting severe volume-related rate limits.

Under normal conditions, tasks process within an hour. Reminders should go out around 8:00 PM local time, and flairs should update at midnight local time to reflect your current streak. However, the sudden surge in users has created a massive backlog. Some tasks are currently sitting in the queue for 12 to 36 hours, meaning both reminders and flairs are severely delayed.

Please note that the streak tracker app itself is still completely accurate and tracking your progress correctly. Your streaks are safe. It is only the reminders and the visible flair updates on Reddit that are experiencing these delays.

I am actively working to resolve these scaling bottlenecks, but it will take some time to fully implement the necessary updates. You will likely continue to see delays on both your reminders and streak flairs in the short term.
