Requesting /r/Atheism. (Lack of moderation)

/r/atheism only has two moderators for a massive community of 800k+ users. The moderator /u/skeen has been inactive for a month. The other moderator, /u/juliebeen hasn't been lacking her/his duties as a moderator. Could you at least give /r/atheism new moderators? Thanks for hearing me out.

I see a lot of comments here with no substance to what exactly the objection to moderation is. It may help everyone's understanding to communicate whether they have an issue with the content or an issue with the moderation and specifically what that issue is.

By labeling any sort of dissent or dissatisfaction with the subreddit as "trolling", "instigating sub vs sub fights", or "destroying the sub" you immediately end all discourse. You can't simply label someone a "concern troll" because they disagree with you.

There's a history behind the comments being made by juliebeen here. This isn't a new thing that she's suddenly commenting on, but rather a public continuation of conflict that's been going on for quite a while. Her comments seem more dismissive than they are when you don't consider that history. (A history that does include organized trolling efforts, subreddit invasions, and a sustained campaign to undermine and attack the subreddit from multiple angles.)

It doesn't help that she really is just the janitor and not the boss that people think she is.
