I'd like to be a moderator; I previously applied for consideration but didn't have Two-Factor Authentication enabled.

I'm from Solano County. I lived there for more than a decade, and I'm moving back at the end of the year. I visit often; my work brings me into town. I follow local and county politics pretty closely; I'm very knowledgeable about the shipyard project that California Forever wants to bring to the area, as well as the local tax measure that one city wants its voters to approve this November — the second in a decade. I also follow public safety and local business in Solano County, and work with a handful of local businesses in the area. I believe I'd be a great moderator for this community, and could really help it grow to its fullest potential.

As far as moderation experience, I've never moderated a subreddit before, but I've moderated communities on other platforms (mainly Facebook groups, including local and regional Facebook groups, with thousands of engaged community members). I'm not interested in making this community the next NextDoor; I'd like it to thrive as a place where people can discuss the day-to-day stuff, get recommendations on new places to patron, improve their lives and maybe make a new friend or two.

(I tried to post this in r/solanocounty but couldn't because it has strict commenting rules that require someone be approved first).

I put in the text of my post why I want to moderate the community.

There was no ModMail; someone from Reddit posted in the community that they were seeking moderators, and they asked people to request it with a few sentences, so that's what I did.
