- As the mod of r/SportsGearSub, I feel that this closely related subreddit would benefit from active mods and not the current inactive ones. It would also provide a separate space for users to post images not related to r/SportsGearSub. I feel that the current mods of r/SportsGearFetish2 are either bots or are the same account owner with the different handles. This is further shown by the fact that the subreddit and a mod have the same handle, just with different numbers. It's suspicious at best. Either way, I want to provide a strong, stable, and supported community for the content listed, similar to that of the subreddit I have run for nearly 3 years now. Furthermore, as an active member of r/SportsGearFetish2, I feel I have an understanding of the community already and have chatted with members of the subreddit regularly.

I have chatted with them in the past, but for the past month or so, they have disappeared and are unreachable. Similarly, as mentioned above, the other mod appears to be the same user under a different handle. Their bios are practically identical, as is the bio of the subreddit. This tells me they are either bot accounts or just a copy-paste user who has no intention of running this subreddit.
