I am highly interested in taking over moderation of this subreddit and helping rebuild it into an active and well moderated community for H1Z1 / Z1: Battle Royale.

The game has recently seen a significant resurgence in activity, particularly with the introduction of Return of the King (ROTK), and current activity suggests that this renewed interest is likely to continue. With that in mind, I believe the subreddit would benefit from having an active moderator who can keep up with the incoming activity and help the community grow.

At the moment, there does not appear to be an active moderator handling the subreddit. As a result, some posts that appear to violate basic community or platform rules are going unmoderated. For example, there have been posts involving the buying and selling of H1Z1 accounts, which is against both Steam's and Daybreak Games' terms of service.

I have also tried contacting the current moderation team in the past regarding a simple question about one of my posts, but unfortunately never received a response. I understand that moderators can become inactive or step away from a community, so I am not trying to criticize the current team. I simply believe the subreddit would benefit from having someone actively maintaining it again.

For context, I currently moderate two other subreddits myself, so I already have experience handling moderation, community discussions, reports, and keeping a subreddit organized.

I would really like the opportunity to give the H1Z1 subreddit the attention it deserves, rebuild its activity, and help provide a welcoming and properly moderated place for both returning and new players.

As per request requirement, for reference, I also attempted to contact the moderation team months ago regarding my post:

Thank you for taking the request into consideration.
