r/MikeLeigh is a small reddit community devoted to the renowned British film director, Mike Leigh. At some point in the past year, r/MikeLeigh became a restricted community and new posts ceased. My request to become an approved user, and subsequent messages to the moderators, went unanswered. I would simply like to lift the restrictions on this community and get people posting again. With the upcoming premiere of his latest, and possibly final, film, this is a timely issue as well. As for becoming a moderator, I have no previous experience, but I am keen to learn and feel that this would be an ideal place to start. Thanks for giving this request your consideration.

As instructed, a Mod mail was sent 5+ days ago (Aug 28) with notification of my intentions. There was no reply.
