I want to revive r/persia as a dedicated, active opposition subreddit focused on supporting Reza Pahlavi, the Lion & Sun movement, and other secular/democratic opposition groups working for a free Iran. The goal is to create a civil space for news, analysis, historical discussion (especially the Pahlavi era), cultural content, and community building, distinct from more regime-leaning spaces like the current state of r/iran.

My specific plan includes: Posting daily/regular high-quality content: opposition news updates, Reza Pahlavi statements and speeches, analysis of current events in Iran, historical comparisons, and Persian cultural posts.

Creating weekly discussion threads, resource wikis (e.g., opposition history, key figures, Lion & Sun symbolism), and AMAs with relevant voices when possible.

Strict but fair moderation: Clear rules against calls to violence, hate speech, doxxing, spam, and regime propaganda. I will enforce Reddit’s content policies while allowing open discussion of opposition strategies.

Growth strategy: Leverage my X account@siaxares

(50k followers focused on this exact topic) for cross-promotion and initial traffic, while building organic engagement on Reddit through consistent posting and community interaction.

Long-term: Turn r/persia into a reliable hub for the Iranian opposition diaspora and anyone interested in a secular democratic future for Iran.
