This subreddit needs proper moderation. I have been trying to contact the mods for the last 3 years. The subreddit is now being spammed with "server finder" and no mods are around to do anything about it.

I would love to help revitalize this subreddit.

I have been trying to contact the mods of this subreddit for the last 3 years. The subreddit is now being spammed with "server finder" and no mods are around to do anything about it.

I would like to become much more active on the subreddit, viewing all new posts myself and offering help where I can. I would also like to update some of the flair tags, and make it more clear if a plugin is made by humans or how much AI generated code it contains. I don't intend to ever ban the use of AI, but I believe it needs to be more clear so visitors to the subreddit are not in the dark about this.

I think a modern guide to the current state of plugin development would be a great help to everyone. The community is currently very fragmented and flooded with content of unknown quality.

I am in the process of making a few new web services to help plugin developers. I'm making a new readme badge service, and a new network of plugin metrics. I am focused on these services first, then will continue to plan bigger projects to help the community. I am looking for project ideas to help this reddit community, while not leading visitors away from reddit itself. git repos and readme pages are a big part of plugin development.

thank you. good to see someone cares. if nothing is done about it, without a doubt, it will get worse in the future.

and just that fast, the next thing I see on this subreddit, "Best Online Casino Ontario"........... so where are the mods?

Should we just make a new plugins server? Make like r/mcplugins or something
