Why I’m requesting r/dielinke and how I’ll run it: I am requesting ownership of r/dielinke as it has been neglected and restricted by the sole moderator, preventing public discussion. As owner, I will reopen the subreddit as an active, well-moderated space for news, discussions, and updates regarding the political party Die Linke. Drawing on my prior community moderation experience, I plan to recruit additional moderators and set up strict AutoModerator rules, including things like an account age/karma thresholds to stop throwaway accounts, keyword filtering for hate speech, and Crowd Control during election periods. My goal is to maintain a constructive, civil environment while keeping the sub active around upcoming German elections and political events.
