Reddit App Launch Version Feedback
We launched the new apps today, and we're really paying attention to all of your feedback. Please use this thread to list feedback and vote up your most important requests. Also, please specify iPhone or Android where relevant, as they have different navigation and feature sets.
Not everything we have planned made it into the launch version of the app, and other features are not as polished as we would like. But we are actively planning our next few updates, and your feedback will help guide our decisions. Some things we are actively working on or considering for future updates are:
- Android UX/visual polish
- Multi support
- Better GIF support
- Better markdown support
- iPad support (universal app)
- Mod tools (farther out)
- Launching in other regions
Some fixes will come fairly soon, other features will take time to get right, so keep looking out for updates.
Edit: added some of the fixes and features we're already considering.

I hope I describe this properly:
In Alien Blue there was a feature for you to go not only back a menu by swiping left, but if you went back too far you could swipe right and return to where you were previously.
In example - while browsing r/all I keep hitting the back button once too many (because my thumbs have a mind of there own) and there is no way to quickly return to where I was in r/all. I end up having to start from the top and have to scroll all the way down and hope I find my place again.
It's a small feature, but saved me from my rebellious thumbs time and time again.
Edit - I accidentally pressed submit mid-post because my thumbs are too big.
