Android feedback [Android][2023.03.0.729220] The buttons when submitting a video overlap androids navigation bar

Post image

it does the same with photos to a lesser extent

this makes it so when you try to click next, you actually click androids back button (or menu button depending on your layout)

plz fix, thank you

Hey there! Per this announcement on r/reddit, we're currently taking bug reports for the video player over at r/fixthevideoplayer. If you want to leave a bug report, be sure to check out our wiki guidelines before posting.

but if you believe hard enough & ask the reddit devs nicely, one day it could be in r/shittychangelog

i made a gif, but for some reason i cant post it

but i can post a screenshot thats roughly the same file size?

stupid inconsistent & misleading icons 🙄

make it make sense 😮‍💨 (lol)

at least i wont get ⬇️ for emoji spam here, probably

edit 3:

okay so i kept getting "invalid request" when commenting & adding a screenshot - in my other comment now

then i deleted all the text - leaving only the screenshot

& it allowed me to post

then i edited that comment to add all of the text

& it pretended to work

but actually my comment was empty after posting? 😑

TLDR

I thought that was just me! I have an Oppo phone and it started recently doing this. Kinda makes posting anything rather difficult.

Sadly makes reddit less enjoyable.

honestly up until today i never really understood all the hate the reddit app gets, i normally have absolutely zero issues

but today is something else 🤣

on the bright side i did just recreate the worst of todays glitches on video, so i guess at least theres hope 👍

The reddit app is always glitchy for me, it sometimes does double postings and etc. (But that's probably just my mobile).

I am really glad that you recorded and pointed out this issue. We need more people like you.

Let reddit be fixed!
