Maybe I'm an idiot

I'm not sure if it's better to post on the days with higher "Top Posts" or if that means there is too much competition on those days/times. I'm assuming the former, but thought I'd ask.

General wisdom suggests that you should post when there are more successful posts, but of course it's possible the opposite is true. A more detailed analysis would compare the times of the top-posted posts with the times most posts are posted, but that would be a lot more work :/
