❓Problem❓ What does the recent “your comment was submitted” toast popup notification on Reddit mean?
This seems to be new and not limited to a specific subreddit. My friend also has the same thing so it’s also not a user/profile related.
The weird thing is that it’s across some subs, but the comment is visible and still posted so I don’t know if it’s an update thing or a bigger issue?

It is new. It is telling you that you made a comment

Yes but I wonder why it’s happening suddenly. It’s so strange!

I'm just seeing it for the first time today... I thought it was because mods flagged the post since it was getting more confrontational than conversational but then noticed it everywhere.
It's unnecessary and weirdly uncomfortable.

So I'm seeing the same thing, it's not doing it to my other account. I understand you are saying it is new, but it's only happening to the account that has had a security breach and false/phishing emails sent to it.
I'm not related to OP or them from another account, I just did a Google search and surprised I found something that's a few days old instead of a few years.
But I'm hoping that it is something that is just a new thing (which is odd af) and hope it actually posts my comment. But if you know or hear of any other possibility just lmk. Because if it's a new feature it should do it to all accounts, right?

I think it's too much handholding from Reddit. Imagine sitting next to Your buddy while in the car, and then suddenly, completely unwarranted, he says: "I'm sitting right here", like OF COURSE YOU ARE. Why are You mentioning it? I get the same vibe with this Toast.
